Contribute

Call for Papers

Interested individuals are invited to submit papers aligned with the conference theme and subthemes. The paper can be either research-based or conceptual. A research paper must have clearly stated research goal(s), research questions, methodology, and findings. A conceptual paper must have clear objectives, a theoretical or conceptual framework, and critical analysis. Abstract must not be more than 250 words. Please state the subthemes of the paper and keywords at the bottom of the abstract and submit at bit.ly/APCCSID2026-abstracts or scan the QR code below. Conference proceedings with the accepted abstracts will be published online.

Please note that once your paper has been accepted, make sure to pay the conference registration fee to pay the conference registration fee as requested by the secretariat. Non-payment of the registration fee will invalidate the acceptance of your paper.

For participants from Malaysia, there will be a specific slot for presentation in Bahasa Malaysia. However, abstracts need to be submitted in both Bahasa Melayu and English.

Successful papers presenters may submit their full paper to the following journals for possible publications, subjected to the terms and conditions by the respective journals. Conference secretariat will not be involved in submission of paper for publication.

Keynote Speakers

Prof. Murray Print, PhD
Prof. Murray Print, PhD

is a recognised leader in curriculum studies, especially curriculum development, as well as civics and political education and within Australia and internationally. He has directed many major research projects such as an ARC-funded project on youth participation in democracy, as well as publishing widely in curriculum studies and supervising PhD candidates in curriculum.

Professor Print was a curriculum leader in the development of the Australian Curriculum. He was Lead Writer and Team Leader of the Australian Curriculum Civics and Citizenship for the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). He also conducted the research that led to the formation of the National Assessment Program Civics and Citizenship (NAPCC) assessments and was responsible for the alignment of the NAPCC with the ACCC.

Prof. Dato' Ts. Dr. Norazah Nordin
Prof. Dato' Ts. Dr. Norazah Nordin

is a Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and currently serves as Director of the Centre for International Strategic Negotiation and Sustainable Development Goals (UKM ISN-SDG). A distinguished educational leader, she previously held the positions of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Industrial Network and Community Affairs) and Dean of the Faculty of Education, UKM. Prof. Norazah is widely recognized for her contributions to curriculum innovation, curriculum design for digital learning, instructional design, learning technologies, and educational transformation.

Her research focuses on the development of future-ready curricula that integrate artificial intelligence, digital competencies, sustainability, lifelong learning, and human-centred innovation. She has led numerous national and international initiatives in MOOCs, blended learning, active learning ecosystems, and digital pedagogy, including the Google for Education Research Project in Malaysia and the Higher Education Active Learning Spaces (HEALS) project. Her work has significantly influenced curriculum development, e-learning policies, quality standards, and innovative learning models that support learner agency, human flourishing, and sustainable futures in the rapidly evolving digital age.
