About us

Association of Professional in Curriculum and Educational Instruction, which is also known as APROCEI, was established in 2020 by curriculum developers and practitioners, as well as academicians. It is officially registered with the Registrar of Societies under Section 7 of the 1966 Securities Act on 7th Dec 2020 (No. Pertubuhan: PPM-002-14-07122020).

The main aim of the association is to provide a platform for exchange of expertise, sharing of knowledge and research findings among Curriculum and Instructional Design practitioners, policy makers and researchers through forums, seminars and workshops. Besides, the association also aims to build synergy between research and practice in curriculum studies and instructional practice, and provide a collective voice for quality and relevant curriculum and instruction in Malaysia, from early childhood level to tertiary level.

Objectives

  • Provide a platform for exchange of expertise, sharing of knowledge and research findings among Curriculum and Instructional Design practitioners, policy makers and researchers through forums, seminars and workshops.
  • Promote synergy between research and practice in the field of Curriculum and Instruction.
  • Collaborate to promote translation of quality research findings in Curriculum and Instruction into practices.
  • Raise the visibility and status of curriculum and instruction to create the awareness of its importance in education in Malaysia.
  • To function as an umbrella organization that serves as a clearing house of information on trends and development in curriculum and instruction.
  • Provide a collective voice for experts and researchers involved in curriculum and instruction in Malaysia.
  • To provide training in curriculum and instruction
  • To provide advice and consultations to curriculum developers, policy makers and researchers in curriculum and instruction.
